| About Us Since the founding of Western Grinding Co., Inc. in 1960, the company has provided precision grinding services. The grinding services include ‘Blanchard,’ surface, I.D., O.D, and centerless operations. In terms of capacity, Western Grinding Co., Inc. operates one of the largest capacity O.D. grinders in North Texas. While the company’s specialty has always been grinding, the machining capabilities have increased in order to satisfy Western’s internal machining demands as well as those of our customers. In addition to grinding and machining, Western Grinding Co., Inc. can also provide value added services such as heat treating, plating, EDM and many others. Western Grinding Co., Inc. utilizes its varied grinding and machining capabilities to support an increasingly complex and specialized customer base. As would be expected, Western Grinding Co., Inc. ‘finish’ grinds machined and hardened parts. However, the company also performs maintenance and repair services for production equipment. Additionally Western Grinding Co., Inc. has the capability to manufacture, reverse engineer, or modify equipment and tooling to satisfy the requirements of our customers. In terms of equipment and services, Western Grinding Co., Inc. has evolved into a more diverse and complex company that can service a large pool of customers.
